It’s been a crazy few weeks. Adam and I both took a week off work to head back to Mildura for an early family Christmas due to work commitments over real Christmas. We took Dan, our Brazillian flatmate with us to show him a little more of the Australian countryside. He’s still amused by Kangaroos! I managed to last oh, three hours, before getting sunburnt to a crisp.. I really should know by now that sun + me doesn’t mix in any way, shape or form.
Oh, and I almost forgot… for those who’ve asked me about my super cryptic last post… I have a new job. Today is my last shift as a retail slave! I start my new position as a production coordinator at an e-commerce company on Monday! I’m actually rather excited about it!

Waiting for important email is ridiculously nerve-wracking. F5 is my new best friend…
Jess being all nostalgic about life and blogging inspired me to have a poke around the interwebs and figure out just how long I’ve been online. After finding the following entry… I feel really, really old. December 2001? That’s 7 years ago. And this particular blog entry isn’t even my oldest, it’s just the oldest one I could actually find archived somewhere on the internet!

Its too hot. Its 35degrees celcius and my pool isnt even clean. I finally cleaned my room :) Its even vacumend. Mum and dad arnt home. They have gone Christmas shopping. My report still hasn’t arrived. It should come within the next couple of days. Im kinda looking forward to finding out what i got. :) We aren’t goingt to see American Pie 2 anymore because the cinema wont let us in because we are only 14 and you needd to be 15. So now we are going to see that Drew Barrymore one, Riding in Cars with Boys. blah. ITS TOO HOT and I AM ALL OUT OF COKE.
My 14 year old self is embarassing. At least I managed to kick the coca-cola addiction, and I now spell a little better… (it’s only taken me 6 years).

I have a giant splinter in my thumb. It’s been there for a couple of days now. An hour or so ago I attacked it with a nice sharp needle. The bastard will still not budge. I think the attacking it with a needle may have made it worse, but that’s so not the point. The point is that it hurts. I think I’ll go buy lollies. Lollies always seem to make pain go away (I’m such a wuss).
I don’t post about Uni, because it’s boring, and every entry would consist of “Awww, I have assignments due, but I don’t want to do them, because I’m like, super lazy and stuff.”
I don’t post about work, because it’s work, and it’s actually kind of boring too.
It’s actually pretty sad that’s all my life really consists of at the moment. Example? Today’s one of my 2 days off from work, which means I’m at uni all day. However, I also have a staff meeting at 6pm that I have to travel into the city for anyway. Meh!
I’m really looking forward to uni holidays…

Presenting the first nadinerine.com layout actually made by me in like, almost a year. Not that I think it’s super fantastic or anything like that, and I’m 110% it doesn’t validate as wc3 compliant!
I’m happy with it though. There are still a few things I want to do with it when I have a little more time, but that said, it’s nice to see some color on here again! I was in a hurry to get this up as I have a very busy few weeks ahead of me, so please, let me know via email or comments here if theres something not quite right. :)
